The race is just around the corner, here is what you need to know:
Location: The race will take place at Long Branch Park in Liverpool, NY. The easiest access to the park is via John Glenn Blvd. See map at the bottom of this page. The GPS address for Long Branch Park is 377 Long Branch Rd. Look for the balloons!
Parking: See parking area on map at bottom of page. You must arrive prior to 8:45am as the road will close for the start of the race.
Friday Packet Pick-Up and Registration: Packet Pick-Up will be held Friday June 16th 4-7pm at Fleet Feet in DeWitt. Runners who wish to register for the event are able to do so at this time. Registration will be $30 (cash or check only). T-shirts are not guaranteed if you register at this time. You may pick up packets for friends and family.
Race Day Packet Pick-Up: This will be available between 7:30 and 8:30am on Saturday, June 17th at Long Branch Park. We will begin the race promptly at 9am, so please arrive in time to get your packets.
Race Day Registration: Race day registration will be available for $30 (cash or check only) and will close at 8:30am. Same-day registration does not guarantee a race t-shirt.
The Course: See map at bottom of page. The 5K will be begin at 9am. The race will start on the road in front of the parking area at Long Branch Park. The route takes you across the Long Branch Bridge, right into Onondaga Lake Park. The turnaround will be at the halfway point. Runners will make their way back into Long Branch Park and finish near the shelter area. Water will be provided at around the 1.5 mile mark. This course is USATF Certified: USATF Certified Course Map. Strollers are allowed on the course. Dogs, bicycles and rollerblades are not allowed on the course.
Post-Race Refreshments: Runners will be provided bananas, yogurt, granola bars and water. We encourage all runners, spectators, and volunteers to stick around for the awards ceremony and mingle post-race!
